Desloc is the latest company to bring wireless charging to CES
Every year of CES sees a standout home lock technology, and this year, I think it may be wireless charging for your smart lock. We already saw security company Lockin literally aura farming with its new AuraCharge technology that beams power to the lock from a secondary hub. Now, Desloc has shown off its new solar smart lock for CES 2026, the V150 Plus.
Instead of using an additional inside hub, Desloc’s model has a built-in perovskite solar panel for the outdoor side of the lock, where it can absorb sunlight to recharge.
If you’re worried that your front door is too shady for solar panels, Desloc thought of that problem. The lock is made to sense levels of sunlight and adjust power consumption, focusing on power generation during the sunniest parts of the day to make the biggest difference. The 10,000-mAh battery will provide power to the lock even at night.

The smart lock also has a bevy of smart features, including recent innovations like facial recognition entry and a fingerprint sensor designed to learn over time so you can get a little lazier with your finger placement.
Desloc’s V150 Plus also includes support for Amazon Alexa and Google Home if you want to connect it to the wider smart home. It’s set to release sometime in the second quarter of 2026 for a price below $300. My front door gets a lot of shade, so I’m more than happy to test how well it works at that time.
