What if the smart lock not unlocking with the DESLOC app?
Possible causes:
● Low battery
● Bluetooth / Wi-Fi connectivity issues
● Outdated firmware or app glitches
Solutions:
● Please use standatd new alkaline batteries; do not mix new and old batteries.
● Ensure your phone and lock are within range, the app has proper permissions, and the lock is synced.
● Restart the app, check for updates, or reset the lock if needed.
What can I do if the smart lock fail to connect to the phone's bluetooth?
● Ensure Adequate Power and Proximity: Make sure that your lock has enough battery power. A low battery level can hinder the Bluetooth connection. Also, ensure that you are close enough to the lock. Bluetooth connections work best when the devices are within a close range (within 3 meters).
● Check Your Phone's Bluetooth Settings: Verify if your phone's Bluetooth setting is turned on.
● Enable Location Services: Please ensure that your location services are enabled.
● Attempt a Lock Restart: If you've checked all the above and still can't connect to the lock, please try to restart the lock.
Can I use the DESLOC app while using the stand-alone mode?
D series has two operation modes, one is stand-alone mode, and the other is App mode. The two modes cannot run simultaneously. When one mode is selected,the other mode will be disabled and cannot be available.
1. If the stand-alone mode is selected: No App is downloaded, and you can directly operate the device; enter the initial passcode "123456" and modify and activate it;
2. If the App mode is selected: Please scan the QR code or download the App in the App Store, and then add the bound device;
3. To switch the operation mode: Restore the device to factory settings.
How to reset the lock through the DESLOC app?
Tap "Settings">"General"> "Reset Device". To reset the equipment, click "Confirm".
NOTE:
1. After reset, the lock will be restored to its factory default settings, reverting the Masterpasscode to "123456" and erasing all User passcodes and User fingerprints;
2. After the factory settings are restored, please change the initial administratorpasscode immediately,otherwise the motor does not work;
3. After the factory settings are restored, when the initial passcode is changed, the lock will automatically adapt to the door opening direction.
How to set the door opening direction by DESLOC app?
The DESLOC app will automatically calibrate during the device pairing process, so there is no need to set the door opening direction.
