DESLOC

The best smart lock I've ever purchased. The fingerprint scan works EVERYTIME!

Solid lock! Came from Schlage Encode Plus WiFi, which broke down twice on me in two years. Loving the palm reader.

The DESLOC Smart Lock K120 has been an excellent upgrade for my home. From the moment I opened the box, everything about it felt well made and thoughtfully designed. The instructions were clear, straightforward, and easy to follow which made the entire installation process smooth and stress free.Setup was surprisingly simple and quick. Even without prior experience installing a smart lock, I had it assembled and working in no time. The fit was perfect and everything aligned just as it should.Performance wise, it has been flawless. The fingerprint feature works quickly and accurately, unlocking the door in seconds without any hassle. The keyless entry and built in WiFi make it incredibly convenient to manage access, whether for everyday use or for guests. The battery life is another standout feature. Knowing it can last for months without needing attention gives me peace of mind, especially for a device I rely on daily. It also feels sturdy and secure, adding an extra layer of confidence in its reliability.Overall, this smart lock combines ease of installation, dependable performance, and modern convenience in one sleek design. It has worked great from day one.

Upgraded my front door with the K140 Plus, and it's the most capable lock I've put on a house. The palm vein recognition is the real standout — you hover your hand near the sensor and the door unlocks almost instantly. No touching, no pressing, no fumbling. Having used fingerprint locks before where dry or dirty hands cause repeated failures, the palm vein reader is a genuine step up. It worked every single time out of the gate.Installation took about 15 minutes with basic tools — it replaces a standard deadbolt and auto-detects left or right hand door orientation, which removes the guesswork. Setup through the app is straightforward, and built-in Wi-Fi means no extra hub or bridge sitting on a shelf. The hidden keypad only lights up when needed, which keeps the front door looking clean and minimal. In Georgia's heat and rain, the IP65 rating gives real peace of mind that the weather won't cause problems over time. The 10,000mAh rechargeable battery delivering 9 months of typical use is genuinely impressive — no swapping out AA batteries every few months. Auto-lock triggered by the magnetic door sensor is smarter than timer-based locks because it only engages once the door is actually confirmed closed. Five ways to get in — palm vein, keypad, app, voice, and mechanical key backup — means no one in the household ever gets locked out. Biometric data stays encrypted on the lock itself and never hits the cloud, which matters.Full five stars — this lock delivers on every promise it makes.

I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about switching to a smart lock but this one completely won me over from the jump. First of all, a 13-month battery life on a single charge is wild — and if the battery does start getting low it automatically kicks into an ultra save mode that stretches standby even further so you're never stuck locked out with a dead battery. There's even a built-in Type-C emergency charging cable right on the lock itself, which is such a smart and thoughtful feature. The fingerprint recognition is no joke either — it uses a GPT smart algorithm with 3D precision that can read dry fingers, wet fingers, even elderly fingerprints, so it's basically always going to know it's you. Your fingerprint data stays stored locally on the device too, so your privacy is protected. The built-in Wi-Fi means no extra hub needed — you just manage everything right from the app including remote locking, access history, and real-time notifications. If you're a landlord or Airbnb host the Landlord Mode is a total game changer for managing who gets access and when. It only takes about 10 minutes with everything included in the box. This lock is seriously the whole package!

The DESLOC K140 model is really something special, and I think this is finally the lock that my wife will be able to use!High level:The K140 is a smart lock which you can control anywhere from your phone, when linked to your home network through the DESLOC app. In addition to being able to set multiple 8-digit key codes, you can setup "palm prints" via the app as well. You can setup multiple users, and set the palm print for each user, in case you want alerts on who is entering and when. This also allows you to set advanced features like schedules, if certain users are only able to enter at specific times (or in vacation mode). You can also share access to the lock remotely via the app.Physical Setup:The setup for the lock is simple. I may be a little biased, because I have and older model DESLOC lock so I had been through it once before. But with that said, I didn't even need to look at the instructions. Once you go through them once, even a year ago, they are simple enough to remember. The lock itself installs like any other lock. So you start by swapping out the deadbolt hardware and strike plates. Once that's swapped, you installed the front and rear lock components, which are each a single piece. There are little "stickies" on the bodies so after you align each half with the deadbolt, the sticky will hold the body in place while you screw them together. Yay! No holding with one hand and trying to screw with the other. While installing the hardware, it is a good idea to charge the battery. It's amazing to me that there is a 10,000mAH battery included at this price! It charges directly via USB-C from any phone charger, but it will take some time due to the size. Thankfully, after installed, it will show you the percent remaining as well.Digital setup:Digital setup is made pretty simple, especially the "palm print portion". Once the DESLOC app is installed you go to add a new lock. You scan a QR code inside the battery compartment, and everything just works! It will prompt you to add a first passcode, but you can add an unlimited number of passcodes after you add the first one in, and you can change it later.Once the passcode is added, you can add palm prints. Unlike thumb readers where you constantly need to reposition the thumb, you hold your palm up once a few inches aware, it detects, and everything works. One and done.... I have yet to have a "bad" palm read. My wife particularly likes this, as she tends to struggle and get frustrated with thumb print readers.A few other notes....I find the build quality of DESLOC products to be VERY good. Much better than the "name brand" items you would find at a local big box store. The plastics, the deadbolt components, the wiring/cables... All high quality consumer grade.I mentioned this before, but the provided battery is a HUGE plus. No more blowing the AA batteries, or having to recharge a bunch of AA. In case the battery DOES run out, there is a usb-c charging cable on the exterior which can be used to operate the lock in a pinch if it's dead. (see picture)I love that with this lock I can setup codes via the app, WITHOUT having to type them in. This makes it easy for me to grant access to someone without even having to be at home. Get called away on an emergency and need to have someone let the dog out? No problem. Create a code in a few seconds (or just unlock remotely), and then disable the code once it's no longer needed. This is the way digital door locks SHOULD be.Really really like the palm reader, and love the app. This is a very good value for a well designed product.

Easy install works well with Alexa.

Easy install & usage love that it locks autimatically and we can lock/unlock via the app!!

The lock works fine and I like it. However, the app needs some improvement. It doesn’t seem to provide realtime status display. The display is only refreshed when there is a lock event (e.g., lock/unlock). So there may be a display discrepancy if a lock event is lost for some reason. Other status such as battery life and wifi signal strength will be inaccurate when there is no lock event (for example, when you are away from home ). To fix the issue and as an improvement, I would suggest an option in the app to manually request lock status and refresh the display remotely. I don’t want unlock/lock remotely to force a display update (since it may not lock properly if the battery is weak).

Great overall lock. Easy to install and connect to the app. It comes with a few extra screws just in case. My only issue was when I plugged in the electrical connection the clip that keeps it locked snapped off. I was very gentle but it snapped.

I look the advertisement over and was a bit hesitant about gettting this digital deadbolt. Other cost a lot more and was concerned about the quality. I decided to take a chance and am very happy that I did. Installation and setup was easy and the lock work perfectlt every time. If you are looking for a digital deadbolt I highly recommend DESLOC. I am a very happy customer.

Installation was easy ,getting it programed took more time.think I am going to like it .I am female ,83 years old and I did it all myself .

I love these locks so much That I bought another one! I can't get the fingerprint scanner to recognize my print, But I don't use that anyways When I have the pin code set and the key cards set. The key cards are perfect! And I love being able to control the locks from the app on my phone.

I am enjoying greatly
